How do I get to Zipolite?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

By bus<\/span><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

No matter where you come from, if you travel in a coach bus, you’ll be arriving in the town of Pochutla. There are direct buses to Pochutla from Mexico City, Puebla, and Oaxaca, but also along the coast from Acapulco in the West or Chiapas (San Crist\u00f3bal de Las Casas) in the East. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you’re coming from Oaxaca, you can also choose to take a mini-van, the fastest way to arrive in Zipolite. Most of the mini-vans arrive in Pochutla, but some have direct service to Zipolite a couple of times a day. One of the companies offering direct service is “L\u00edneas Unidas”. The trip through the mountains takes around 7 hours and includes a bathroom break, and it costs around 360 pesos. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Once in Pochutla, you can either take a “pasajera” (local pick-up truck with passenger seats, around 20 pesos) or choose a taxi. Some taxis are “colectivos” and they’ll leave once full and drop off and pick up people along the road (around 30 pesos), but you can also get a private ride which should be around 200 pesos. By air<\/span><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

About one hour from Zipolite, east of Pochutla is the International Airport of Huatulco (HUX), and about one hour and a half west is the International Airport of Puerto Escondido (PXM). You can book a flight from your home country or a national flight from several Mexican cities to these two airports. From there, we suggest walking outside the airport to grab either a private taxi directly to Zipolite (800-1500 pesos) or a “colectivo” to Pochutla, and then follow the instructions above to get to Zipolite. If you’re coming from Puerto Escondido you can also choose to take public transport to the “San Antonio” crossroads and grab a “pasajera” from there to Zipolite. Taxis from within the airport are usually much pricier. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

By car<\/span><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Coming from Oaxaca City, the closest option is taking federal road #175, which will take you through the Sierra Madre mountains, on a winding but breathtaking trip. It’s 258 km and should take around 6-7 hours, with a break in San Jos\u00e9 del Pac\u00edfico for a coffee or woodstove meal. Drive slowly and carefully, as the road is narrow and the curves are tight. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The first option starts with taking Highway #135D and then after Oaxaca moving onto Federal Road #175 as mentioned above. It’s about 718 km and should take about 12-13h. The second option is less winding but longer. It begins by taking Highway #95D from Mexico City to Acapulco (passing through Cuernavaca), and then from there turning West on Federal Road #200 towards Salina Cruz (passing through Pinotepa Nacional and Puerto Escondido). Once you get closer to Pochutla you’ll reach the “San Antonio” intersection, where you will turn right onto Federal Road #157 passing through Mazunte to Zipolite. We are located at the west end of the beach, just before “El Alquimista”. Coming from Puerto \u00c1ngel, it is the last entrance on the road on the left, passing the “Rancho los Mangos\/Hotel Los Angeles” and just before Arroyo Tres. Coming from Mazunte it is the first entrance on the right, just after Arroyo Tres.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Autob\u00fas<\/span><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Una vez en Pochutla, puedes tomar una \"pasajera\" (camioneta local con asientos para pasajeros, alrededor de 20 pesos) o elegir un taxi. Algunos taxis son \"colectivos\" y salen una vez llenos y dejan y recogen gente a lo largo de la carretera (alrededor de 30 pesos), pero tambi\u00e9n puedes conseguir un viaje privado que deber\u00eda costar alrededor de 200 pesos. Si vienes desde Oaxaca, tambi\u00e9n puedes optar por tomar una suburban, la forma m\u00e1s r\u00e1pida de llegar a Zipolite. La mayor\u00eda de las suburbans llegan a Pochutla, pero algunas tienen servicio directo a Zipolite un par de veces al d\u00eda. Una de las empresas que ofrece servicio directo es \"L\u00edneas Unidas\". El viaje por la monta\u00f1a dura alrededor de 7 horas e incluye un descanso para ir al ba\u00f1o y cuesta alrededor de 360 pesos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

No importa de d\u00f3nde vengas, si viajas en autob\u00fas llegar\u00e1s a Pochutla. Hay autobuses directos a Pochutla desde la Ciudad de M\u00e9xico, Puebla y Oaxaca, pero tambi\u00e9n a lo largo de la costa desde Acapulco al oeste o Chiapas (San Crist\u00f3bal de Las Casas) al este.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Avi\u00f3n<\/span><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Aproximadamente a una hora de Zipolite, al este de Pochutla se encuentra el Aeropuerto Internacional de Huatulco (HUX), y aproximadamente a una hora y media al oeste se encuentra el Aeropuerto Internacional de Puerto Escondido (PXM). Puedes reservar un vuelo desde tu pa\u00eds de origen o un vuelo nacional desde varias ciudades mexicanas a estos dos aeropuertos. Desde all\u00ed, sugerimos caminar fuera del aeropuerto para tomar un taxi privado directamente a Zipolite (600-900 pesos de Huatulco y 1000-1300 pesos de Puerto Escondido) o un \"colectivo\" a Pochutla, y luego seguir las instrucciones anteriores para llegar a Zipolite. Si vienes desde Puerto Escondido tambi\u00e9n puedes optar por tomar transporte p\u00fablico hasta el cruce \"San Antonio\" o un autob\u00fas hasta Pochutla y desde all\u00ed tomar una pasajera hasta Zipolite. Los taxis desde el aeropuerto suelen ser mucho m\u00e1s caros.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Coche<\/span><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Viniendo desde la ciudad de Oaxaca, la opci\u00f3n m\u00e1s cercana es tomar la Carretera Federal #175, que te llevar\u00e1 a trav\u00e9s de las monta\u00f1as de la Sierra Madre, en un viaje muy sinuosa pero con paisajes impresionantes. Son 258 km y el viaje dura usualmente entre 6 y 7 horas, con un descanso en San Jos\u00e9 del Pac\u00edfico para tomar un caf\u00e9 o una comida a la le\u00f1a. Maneja despacio y con cuidado, ya que la carretera es estrecha y las curvas cerradas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Viniendo desde la Ciudad de M\u00e9xico puedes elegir viajar a trav\u00e9s de Oaxaca o Acapulco. La primera opci\u00f3n comienza tomando la Carretera #135D hasta Oaxaca y despu\u00e9s de Oaxaca tomando la Carretera Federal #175 mencionada anteriormente. Son unos 718 km y tardar\u00e1s alrededor de 12-13h. No olvides hacer una pausa en Oaxaca para descansar antes de continuar por las monta\u00f1as.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Estamos ubicados en el extremo oeste de la playa, justo antes de \"El Alquimista\". Viniendo de Puerto \u00c1ngel, es la \u00faltima entrada sobre la carretera a mano izquierda, pasando el \"Rancho los Mangos\/Hotel Los Angeles\" y justo antes de Arroyo Tres. Viniendo de Mazunte es la primera entrada a mano derecha, justo despu\u00e9s de Arroyo Tres. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Alle Wege nach Zipolite f\u00fchren hier \u00fcber Pochutla<\/strong> wann man mit dem Bus kommt, . Es gibt direkte Busse nach Pochutla von Mexiko-Stadt, Puebla und Oaxaca, aber auch entlang der K\u00fcste von Acapulco im Norden oder Chiapas (San Crist\u00f3bal de Las Casas) im S\u00fcden.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Wenn Sie aus Oaxaca kommen, k\u00f6nnen Sie auch einen Minivan nehmen, der schnellste Weg, um nach Zipolite zu gelangen. Die meisten Minivans kommen in Pochutla an, einige bieten jedoch mehrmals t\u00e4glich eine direkte Verbindung nach Zipolite an. Eines der Unternehmen, das Direktverbindungen anbietet, ist \u201eL\u00edneas Unidas\u201c. Die Fahrt durch die Berge dauert inklusive Toilettenpause etwa 7 Stunden und kostet etwa 360 Pesos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sobald Sie in Pochutla angekommen sind, k\u00f6nnen Sie entweder einen \u201ePasajera\u201c (\u00f6rtlicher Kleintransporter mit Beifahrersitzen, etwa 20 Pesos) nehmen oder ein Taxi w\u00e4hlen. Bei einigen Taxis handelt es sich um \u201eColectivos\u201c, die fahren, sobald sie voll sind, und die Leute entlang der Stra\u00dfe absetzen und wieder abholen (ca. 30 Pesos). Flugzeug<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Etwa eine Stunde von Zipolite entfernt, \u00f6stlich von Pochutla, liegt der internationale Flughafen Huatulco (HUX) und etwa anderthalb Stunden westlich der internationale Flughafen Puerto Escondido (PXM). Zu diesen beiden Flugh\u00e4fen k\u00f6nnen Sie einen Flug aus Ihrem Heimatland oder einen Inlandsflug aus mehreren mexikanischen St\u00e4dten buchen. Von dort aus empfehlen wir, den Flughafen zu Fu\u00df zu verlassen und entweder ein privates Taxi direkt nach Zipolite (800-1500 Pesos) oder ein \u201eColectivo\u201c nach Pochutla zu nehmen und dann den obigen Anweisungen zu folgen, um nach Zipolite zu gelangen. Wenn Sie aus Puerto Escondido kommen, k\u00f6nnen Sie auch mit \u00f6ffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln bis zur Kreuzung \u201eSan Antonio\u201c fahren und von dort aus eine \u201ePasajera\u201c nach Zipolite nehmen. Taxis vom Flughafen aus sind in der Regel deutlich teurer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Von Puerto \u00c1ngel kommend ist es die letzte Einfahrt auf der Stra\u00dfe auf der linken Seite, vorbei am \u201eRancho los Mangos\/Hotel Los Angeles\u201c und kurz vor Arroyo Tres. Von Mazunte kommend ist es die erste Einfahrt auf der rechten Seite, gleich nach Arroyo Tres.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
